Issue #021 reviews the performance of featured stocks post their Q3FY25 results. This includes SAMHI, BLS, Zaggle, Sky Gold, Raymond, Ceigall, Garware, Kilburn, Deep, UGRO, Zen Tech & Hariom Pipes
Thank you so much Shankar Ji,This helps me to understand better on the companies.Wish will sail through on these tough market conditions..Thanks again and salute to your commitment towards our community..
Most welcome Suresh ji. I'm glad you found it useful. It took me a bit of time (3 days) to compile this email as every transcript had to be read & understood but I'm happy with the result -- makes it easy to know where each company stands.
I believe Zaggle,Deep and Ugro will be the better performers(just my view) but where we stands at Kilburn eng and Hari Om pipes I see major problem with steel prices as China is dumping everything to open market like India at cheper cost and 15% Import duty does not seems to be helpful, also I see zen technologies agressive statements(order book is good) but to roll out a device or technology in defense makes atleast 5 years of time as it is matter of national security and stringent rules will be at place, what are your Thoughts Shankar ji !
Firstly thanks a lot to both of you as you indeed do a great job to provide the genuine updates in your call. Also by doing so you encourage all those individuals who are interested to upskill their finance management and stock market learning process.Once again thank you. From your recommendations I keep analyzing bls international, ugrow, zeggle prepaid, kilburn, deep industries, and samhi hotel few of them also make me exited to invest in.Please do let me know if I can contribute to you in your research in any way.
Sure -- if you're tracking any stock and have a strong & detailed investing thesis for it, please do email it to us at hello@beginnersbuck.com
The upcoming community is based on collective learning and sharing. I'll encourage members to do their own research and build their own investing thesis. Priyam and I will help him/her put it together and then it will be opened for discussion amongst all members. I'm certain the collective output will be a superior output leading to more investing ideas
Most welcome. I'll be launching the community in the 2nd week of March, Kapil ji. Prior to that I will make the announcement with a preview video on my newsletter and Youtube community. It's almost there :)
I am one of the admirers. It's an excellent bunch of pick-up and study. I would appreciate it if you would consider me as a part of your group during the process of your selection so that I can get a lead to study those stocks and make informed decisions at my own risk.
To start with, please create a group with a (paid) monthly membership. I will await eagerly your response on this matter.
Thank you so much, Mr. Sanyal for your kind appreciation 🙌
Appreciate the note. This is exactly what I want to achieve via the upcoming community ---- create a meeting spot for like-minded people to interact, share & discuss opportunities
I'm a firm believer of the true-learning-happens-outside-the-classroom theory and in that context, the community will have multiple interaction and participation elements in it
For instance --
a) we'll have group video calls (every week if need be) where we'll discuss a couple of companies. This can be initiated and put together by any member including you. Ofcourse my team will be there to help put the material together but by teaching others, that member (you) will not have learnt that bit but you'll also receive inputs from others that'll improve the investing thesis (not just for yourself but for others participating)
b) Similarly, there'll be a discussion area within the community. This will include tactical opportunities, some good articles/studies/videos etc. which members will find helpful. I think there will be something good to post every day
c) Plus I'll have videos with important concepts that many don't understand or ignore e.g. how to calculate future EPS or should we really be seeing cash conversion ratio for all companies etc. I'll also update some of my previous videos esp. the momentum-value one :)
Ofcourse, all this is in addition to original research and follow-up notes that Priyam & I will continue to post from time to time. Again, I'll encourage members to submit their detailed investing thesis too & I'll work with them in improving it.
This community will be is my biggest, costliest and toughest project yet.
Understandably, I'm a bit nervous and excited. Unlike a course/workshop, it requires my attention on a daily basis, I need to hire researchers -- so yes, I am nervous. But like I did it with my Youtube channel & newsletter -- I will put in my very best
Absolutely, the community will be a paid one and I'll be pricing the membership at ₹9,999 for a year (inclusive of GST)
The members I'd like to attract here are ones who have the desire to learn, participate & improve their investing -- a skill we all need for the rest of our lives
I'm hopeful, we'll not attract the stock-tip-seeking or attention-seeking kind. I'll indicate that in my preview video that I'll release soon
The paid community starts very soon, Mr. Sanyal -- March 1st week
Thank you, Shankar. Discovering your stack was one of the best things that happened to me. I've longed for someone to write about company performance in such a simple fashion. It does make me a better investor. Thank you and keep doing the good work!
Thanku shankar ji much awaited Review and keep going on ,Hope good days are yet to come and market bounce’s back, once again kudos for the efforts and transparency 🙏🏼
My exit framework is the exact opposite of the entry framework. When entering a stock, there's a simple thesis based on growth rate, margin, initiatives and valuation. If the stock starts moving away from any of these, a review is warranted and that's where I decide to remain or buy more or exit the stock. This is what happened with Raymond Lifestyle & Ceigall
Infact I've exited some 6-7 stocks in the last 1.5 years and much to my relief, most of them have remained stuck at the exit price or have gone to worse. There maybe some luck also (I don't know) but I've found the simple "why enter, why exit" way quite simple to understand and implement

I have read all of your newsletter and also
analyzed them myself, i think
Skygold, Zentec, Zaggle are the best in
terms of growth and valuation and have a
chance of re-rating, Do you agree
Please could you share again (if you have already posted earlier), what is exit criteria?
